Anyone know if gas stations make more money as the prices rise? I was always under the impression they made their money with alcohol and tobacco.

I know nothing about the subject matter but I highly doubt they get any significant difference in profits. I think pricing would be much more competitive if they did. It is probably true that they couldn’t survive without their other sales.

No.they pretty much make the same few cents.they make there money on volume but mostly the other stuff people buy when getting gas
