I'm for being involved in South America and Mexico. Fix those shithole socialist countries and build them up. Don't let the CCP or global homos continue to plunder our side of the world where we have all we need to survive with out them.
But I could do without sending our troops overseas part. Until a day of imminent attack
Plus I also don't mind being the superior naval power in the pacific. As it stands rn, the pacific is essentially our territory for all intents and purposes so Panama canal and pacific are the only exceptions.
I'm someone who generally describes as isolationist for America (North and South) and that we shouldn't involve ourselves with the problems of Africa, Asia, and Europe. Our nations here are established and have the populations to move towards the future. It's the old civs that are holding us back.
Plus implement a reciprocal ownership rule or implement a 51-49% American majority ownership. Meaning no foreigner can own anything without America being involved.
I agree that expansionism is why Japan his pearl harbor, but that war was fought and won. No one challenges the us navy in the pacific and id rather not lose that status to communists. The Atlantic isn't that big of an issue but again from a focus perspective I'd rather put our efforts into making our southern neighbors in Mexico central America and South America better places. We'll never be able to fix it all but if u told me that we would send our solders to those lands to bring freedom to those ppl (who btw seem more receptive to the idea than ppl of Afghanistan or the Middle East) I'd feel that's an effort worth using our military for.
But for the most part yeah isolationist is my preferred Stance
