I was raised by two Republicans (Baby Boomers) and have always been Republican myself. (RINOs give us a bad name!) My dad sent me a meme from Twatter of a dog peeing on Putin's face on a billboard and it was from a pro-Ukraine account. (Ugh!) He said added "smart dog" or something to his own message to me.
Seeing the opportunity to help educate him on the matter, I told him what I've learned is going on. He said he merely cares for all the people and the ones who have to die because of it. I told him about Azov battalion and whatnot. I mentioned a bit of stuff (common knowledge to us, here) and brought up the DS. Neither he nor my mom knows about it or what it is. There was a longer discourse between us, but suffice it to say, I need a good website that my politically apathetic mom would want to read and that my dad can sink his teeth into. My mom doesn't watch the news, but my dad's always been a newspaper and tv news junkie.
I told my mom that all of that is why I was so adamant against the "vaccine" and I tried to discourage them from taking it. At least they aren't getting boosters. I am trying to dissuade her from even taking the flu shot, which she never took until a few years ago when my uncle was ill.
Anyway, after all that, and I know it's likely been posted before, please help me redpill my parents.
Thanks, lads and lasses. WWG1WGA.

Thank you!!
Lucille, this may not be what you're looking for, but it may be just the ticket to plant a seed that will begin to grow. It's Sharyl Attkisson's very credible, very gentle an non-political video on astroturfing. It explains in such a simple way how 'news' is easily manipulated. With this, I'd find some videos with crisis actors (and even show them the actual websites where these services are advertised.)

Also, you said 'at least they're not getting boosters.' I'd use that as a starting point in conversations. There must be a REASON they decided not to get boosters. Why? Do they think they are ineffective? Why and why did they ever believe they were effective? Do they know believe they are harmful? Why? And do they now realize they were always harmful, and some (you) recognized that? Why do they think they didn't recognize it? Etc. Good luck and please keep us posted!
Thank you so much!!
I couldn't say why they decided not to take the boosters or why they took the shots in the first place. Perhaps the insistence died down? My cousin told my dad that he needed the booster and I told him do not take it. Sadly, both of my sisters took them. I wouldn't be surprised if my brother did, too.
Well, my point is that if you can communicate with them at all, you can use the socratic method to get their wheels turning. I mean, at some point they must have thought the shots were helpful. Now they have backed off. Start asking them questions about that. Answering questions is what makes people THINK and makes them ask questions of their own. I hope you're able to help them, fren!
