Only thing I dont like about the child porn laws is how easy it makes it for bad actors to put it on someone's PC/cell phone and blackmail/arrest them.
There should have to be some sort of process to verify that you actually are the one who downloaded those images. Am I wrong?
What if this is how the intel agencies are blackmailing everyone. Problem is I have no idea how to fix it without putting children at more risk.
That assumes you ever even had knowledge of someone else using your phone or computer. Some places people go make them leave phones at the desk, a well funded intelligence operation could infiltrate someone's home through any number of ways or even straight up burglary.
But I guess it's a moot point because if a well funded Intel agency wants to frame you they are going to be able to do it, there's no way to have freedom AND prevent that risk.
