I'd be really lonely if I didn't have my work to occupy me. But I'm moderately lonely because I have no friends. I'd like to meet non-vaxxed trump supporting patriots in my city of Austin, TX, but I have no idea how to go about that.
I think relationships are important in life and I've been lacking in that area. But it's time for me to make an effort and reach out to the right people I resonate and relate to.
If you're in the neighborhood, let's connect!
Friends.
I've had them. I treasured them. But I was young and dumb. I have learned my lessons.
Shit that can happen because friends:
A text message at 3AM "Dude. Meet me at (location redacted) and bring a shovel. This body's getting ripe and I need help buring it."
"Dude, I lost all my money at the tracks. I need to borrow $10k to cover bills."
"Dude. I accidentally started a war with a bunch of scumbags. Come over to my place and bring your guns. Oh, and bring a sleeping bag, this will probably take a while."
"Dude. Remember that stripper at dude's bachelor party? She's saying she's pregnant now and demands someone stand up as the baby daddy. You'd make a good dad, why don't you take the hit on this one?"
Lucky me, I already had learned how to say no before I had friends.
