Amusing attempt -- no, really -- but, nose is different, lips are different, eyebrows different, eye shape is different, cheek is a bit higher on Jet Li.
Basically, the same differences they'd think look the same on us. I could distinguish between any Asian I know/met in a crowd of other Asians. Same with any race.
I applaud you though, I think that was a similar age for both photos.
Interestingly, their eye wrinkles and crow's feet both developed at about the same design. Wonder if both of them have "pure" bloodlines, and maybe that's where the confusion comes from. We're used to seeing so many mixed bloodlines that when someone comes from a relatively purer bloodline, they tend to look similarly to other people with that same race's bloodline purities.
Certainly they have similarities that goes beyond "hehehe slanty eyes hehehe", but I could still easily distinguish them. And that was before Jet Li started not looking so good.
Lighten up Frencis. It was a joke like I assume your statement about the chinese language was. Bet you are real fun at parties.
"Dinglong Culture"
Come on, why do Chinese names have to sound so funny? Does it at least translate into something from one of their languages or is it a nonsensical combination?
Did I do a bad job of portraying that I was participating in this joke?
I was trying to make a middle ground between "none of them look the same" "but actually they do have a lot of similarities"
And yes, Dinglong Culture sounds fucking hilarious and that's why I wanted to know if it actually means something or if it's nonsensical like a lot of western companies.
I mean, we have a lot of restaurants nearby with various silly "pho" combinations due to the pronunciation.
