Agree, I flew into SFO less than 12 hours after it happened. The flight attendants requested that we close the window shades prior to landing. The remains of that plane sat on the tarmac for a week or two before they loaded it on a barge and moved it out. I had a few more flights in and out before it was pulled. Real eerie experience overall, one I wont forget.
The kid who was an intern at the FAA, who provided those names I guess didn't get hired ;-) The news caster and the people who screen it, were dumb fucks. Reminded me of the phony phone calls on Howard Stern. There are a lot of people who are not too bright out there!
