I think Heinz is John Kerry's stepson. Kerry's alcoholic wife, Teresa, was married to a US Senator from PA ... John Heinz. He was an heir to the Heinz Ketchup empire. He was killed in a plane crash (I think in the late 80s or early 90s ... I forget) ... Teresa got his share of the company.

I wonder if that's somehow related.
