It was no accident.

Wellstone was made aware of very sensitive information, and was contemplating public exposure of some of the information, while considering a run for President. He was also one of the key votes and voices against the war in Iraq.

His remaining family has been compromised and is closely controlled.

Grassley plays his role as well as any. Johnson is another who gains credence through manipulation.
