My Floridian daughter recently was denied an Uber for not wearing a mask. Her ride was canceled, and she was charged. The driver reported her, and she received this email telling her to take a photo in a mask to be allowed to ride. She called a Lyft instead.

I worked Uber Eats and Doordash through most of 2020 during the lockdowns. Uber would require I take a picture wearing a mask to sign on for my shift. I never wore one. Just pulled my t-shirt over my face to look like a mask for the picture and went about my work.
Two restaurants kicked me out for being unmasked, but every single other one either didn't care or found a way to work with me.
