That’s how their tactic always works….”it’s just xyz….don’t be a prude…” and next thing you know it’s ok to be a pedophile. The argument shouldn’t be if it’s ok for a boy to paint their nail. It should be why are kids, boy or girls, painting their nails at school? No one needs their nails painted anyways. And it’s not really good for your nail health. Turns it yellow, deprives it of oxygen. Exposes you to harsh chemicals. The list goes on. Why don’t they say nail polish is a symbol of male oppression and objectifying women?
I think they included this activity so kids could show solidarity with the gay guys who do wear nail polish. Otherwise why not paint something else? It was deliberately chosen as a controversial push-the-limits activity.
Not to mention a waste of time that could be spent learning more important things!
