Notice that Poland and other NATO nations aren't setting up refugee checkpoints within their own nation's borders. Poland set up checkpoints for refugees exactly on the Ukraine side of the border... but delays in processing cause a miles long line of refugees and vehicles on the highway going West to Poland. The delays can be more than a day.
I believe that was done for a reason. Rather than giving refugees safe shelter within their own borders (temporarily) while they are being processed... Poland (or NATO) helped create a miles long line of refugees within Ukraine's borders.
Now NATO can claim that "we need to provide NATO troops to provide security for those refugees and ensure their safety as they are waiting to be processed." That strategy allows NATO to place troops several miles into Ukraine. It's a "camel nose under the tent" strategy. Next... as the troops move in to secure the highway, the delays grow longer. "We have to provide food, medicine, shelter, etc... for the evacuees while they are being processed." So NATO brings in tents, truck loads of supplies, medical facilities, power generation, etc....
The NATO troops won't want to come under 'fire', so naturally a no-fly zone will have to be established for several miles around the 'refugee' processing area. Before long, the 10,000 NATO troops won't be enough to secure the refugees, so additional troops may be needed in multiple locations... which each of those will require their own no-fly zones.
Before long, the entire NATO camel has gotten into the tent. Either this is nipped in the bud early... or it will progress to the point of NATO confrontation with Russia.
What happens when Russian forces show up over night at the "refugee" areas with food, fuel, medical supplies etc? That will obliterate NATO's horse shit.
