he still has his law license I believe unless they got it taken away from him, and so that makes him an officer of the court. It is preferable for a legal representative to have access or hold info of his clients for litigation and validation.

His license was suspended for 5 years in 2021. He's not an officer of the court at all anymore. He doesn't even have privilege any longer.

I do not know if he is the representative or not, but he could have been at one point or transferred info to another officer of the court.
