Yes but I wonder if the missing 'ti' four times is actually comms of some sort. Once I saw that other post about RICO and RAID BAD, seems like this obvious a word twist would mean something.
I thought the same thing, but I have no ideas about what it might mean.
Also, these people don't realize that law firms don't use real proofreaders any more. They rely on spell check and grammar check, neither one of which would have gagged on "fictious." They are showing their lack of knowledge.
There are words in most spell check dictionaries that shouldn't be there, especially for legal and business use. An example I saw is the word "manager." Leave out a letter and you have "manger." It's a correctly spelled word, but would almost never be used in legal or business documents. WordPerfect allows you to edit the dictionary, so at the business I worked at, I deleted "manger" from the spell check dictionary. I also deleted "ot," a very common typo, but also a real word.
