I remember reading something in my biology class in 2008 that scientists genetically modified plants so they grow plastics. The same plastics that don't break down. But I'm really curious to all the theories of how the plastic got into the humans blood.
I could understand them being in the digestive track because of the food the offer to feed us with but we have stomach acids that breaks us down. How would it cross into the blood unless injecting it past the digestion track?
