Visit your local library - see what is there. If it's too left partisan, just start requesting they purchase (be specific) titles that fit in line with your beliefs or views. If they refuse, ask to see their collection development policy..

Absolutely. I'm in a unique position as I'm definitely a minority when it comes to conservative library directors. I had someone talk to me about him (gay) wanting more manga that is inappropriate. They like that anime shit apparently. We had a lesbian there once who was agenda driven. She left not long after I started and have been cleaning up her purchases since. I'm not against it, but it.doesnt belong with the age group the publishers and authors assign to it.
