This is true. Satan has already lost the war and he knows it. So the only thing to do is to try to steal God's children one by one. He fosters hate and selfishness, and other sin, which creates misery, which fosters more hate and selfishness. Does he do this just to spite God, or does he hope to create and even more massive kingdom of stolen souls he hopes may eventually bypass and eventually overcome God's kingdom in a new war in the future? Satan MUST have as many hearts as possible to have any chance of implementing his plans.
