I agree with you and most people here that the Speaker plan is goofy, but it wouldn’t be permanently sneaky. It would only be for a while until Republican Congressional majorities could impeach and remove Biden and Harris. Then Trump would get almost half a term before he would run again and crush the 2024 election, removing any lingering thoughts of sneaky back doors.

But yeah, I think The Plan’s idea of devolution leaves less to chance and relies less on RINOS.
