How about a good old fashioned land line? Just imagine not being texted in the middle of ... well, everything. Then again, all those extended warranty calls would come through the land line instead. That would get annoying.

My landline rings once if someone tries to text e and caller ID can't get the number. I have had people tell me why didn't you answer my text. Answer, I don't text.
