I know an older lesbian that is a pillar of our community. She’s openly lesbian but she is of the mind “that’s my business stay the hell out of it” and doesn’t express it like the younger generations. She’s shockingly normal. I don’t necessarily agree with it, but we are in America where you have the right to be free and pursue happiness. It’s the younger generation trying to “be somebody” and “be heard” by going to extreme lengths to make it happen.
