Just to clarify -
No one is saying that this Disney event was the 'singular story' that will shake everyone to their core and awaken the masses.
If each story like this wakes up 1% of the normies (which is barely perceptible), then we inch closer to the 'critical mass'.
In the meantime, a whole bunch of awake and partially-awake parents have just sworn off Disney for life (and for the life of their kids).
I never thought I'd say this, but once Disney attendance figures get low enough, there will come a time when Disney theme parks are completely empty.
That is (likely) still years away, but it is financially unfeasible to keep a park open when half (or more) of your customer base is gone for good, because they have intentionally found something better to do.
Camping anyone?
