Even before this woke shit turned prominent circa 2015, they celebrate so much on pagan beliefs such as Easter being a bunny day, halloween as a spooky day, and christmas as a santa day.
When I was like 4 and I watched playhouse Disney, they always emphasize on magic. They like telling that witches are good, dragons are good, and sorcery is fun. They will even condition children to say magic words and stuff.
Their schtick has always been about traumatizing children. Even going back to the classics. Bambi: no dad, mom dies in a fire. Snow white: orphan with evil step mom. Dumbo: everything about it.
CHILDREN IN PERIL is a common theme not only of disney cartoons and movies but Spielberg and other films too.
Jurassic Park is among the best ones ever done, and the kids are in near-constant danger and fear. E.g., the boy who gets chased down a tree by a driverless Jeep while evading the T. rex trying to eat him later survives being electrocuted by a fence. Parents: nowhere to be seen.
Children in Peril has been the theme of "fairy tales" and other stories meant for children for centuries.
These stories were intended to teach the young ones that there was great danger in the world and that they must listen to their families when warnings are given.
But in so many of the same stories, the children also learn how to handle the dangers and find their courage. This prepares them for living as adults in a dangerous world.
There are no parents in these stories because otherwise, the kids could just rely on them and wouldn't be pushed into figuring it out themselves.
It's just storytelling. This sort of thing is often called a "cautionary tale." And yes, Jurassic Park is another good example.
Stick your infant in its cradle up in a tree! That way, when the wind blows the thing out of there, the heavy wooden cradle will smash into the ground below, along with that poor little deeply traumatized baby you were supposed to love and protect instead!!!
