Alright right now we live in an apartment unit, now we have been living here for decades and are considering to move for a lot reasons. But today we just this supposedly new technology and what I didn't expect or know, it seems this new and updated thermostat was made by Google at this point. How do we know the guy told us this when installing it and basically everyone is getting one in the building, at this point you know where I am getting. The design makes it seem like some transmitter if not some device to spy on you hidden in plain sight, wouldn't surprise me (((they.))) are doing this for their deprived agendas. But to use such as a subtle disguise, bastards are pretty much asking to be hanged for violating our privacy and much more without second thought.

Yes, in the last 6 months or so, my local utility company, (which is a very large semi-monopoly in my state) had been emailing and snail mailing us for months to tell us we qualified for a 'free' smart thermostat. Yippee! But... I have two regular digital ones installed by an electrician that work just peachy. Why do I need to have remote access to my thermostat? I mean it knows what it's supposed to do based on how I set it up, because that's what its job is, right? Of course that is right.
Plus, if I have remote access, you know they have remote access and, I don't like that at all.
NO THANKS.
