Perhaps our time would be better spent encouraging God-fearing families to work within the foster care system to assist their communities rather than instilling fear and disdain for the system. No families would prefer to be involved in the foster care system, and you know who else really doesn't want to be in the foster care system? Foster kids. If every Christian family who said they wanted to adopt actually did so, we would break the foster care system.

Are there bad actors in the foster care system? Yep. But the four kids I adopted aren't affected by those people.
