Funny story, when I was in grade school I got some infection from the dirt, my mom sent meds to school with me with explicit instructions for the nurse/teachers whomever.

Oh NO!

Doctor required to contact schoool, fill out paperwork, and still, they refused to allow the nurse to administer my med, but I "was" aloud to swallow it myself, at a drinking fountain, "under supervision", they even checked my mouth each time to "make sure" I had actually taken the med.

Funny part?

Yeah well, that "funny part" is it was SIXTY FUCKING YEARS AGO.

(My apologies but I am seething with rage at this)
