Yesterday the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) released the study "Effect of Early Treatment with Ivermectin among Patients with Covid-19": https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2115869
It's being picked up by MSM with lines like "Ivermectin does not reduce risk of COVID-19 hospitalization" (eg: https://twitter.com/i/events/1509536205725085700 (sorry nitter doesn't support this kind of post ATM)).
Requesting an in-depth look into this report, because on the surface it sounds like an outlier, or BS.

yup. in addition, the NEJM study above allowed vaccinated to be included in the study, but did not differentiate trial outcomes according to vaccine status.
Yeah for one thing only had 1300 participants iirc and also ivermectin works best given as soon as symptoms appear not later on
OK 3500 people but who had been experiencing symptoms for 7 days. Of course by that point the virus has taken hold. Iver is for early treatment
true, but IVM also has mechanisms of action on the later inflammatory stage.
Yes this is true. But if I wanted IVM to lose I'd handicap it like they did in the study
