These teachers are performing 'Pharmakeia' and causing the young to be harmed and to stumble before God..
"And by their sorceries, the nations shall be deceived." - Rev. 18:23 The word 'sorceries' in this verse comes from the Greek word -- 'Pharmakeia'.
When we of God are wittingly caused to stumble and be harmed by those of influence and authority (i.e. teachers, politicians, pastors, entertainers, etc.), this is called 'Pharmakeia' in the Greek language. It is essentially a form of 'sorcery' to use such influence to intentionally cause others to be harmed and stumble before God.
It written these who perform ‘pharmakeia’ will not only face death, but will experience the second death. They are the first to be dealt with and thrown into the lake of fire. Their evil acts are a very serious matter indeed. We need to recognize this fully and sitting idle without making a stand is putting oneself in great peril.
