What if I told you it's possible to create a model that explains "most of reality" while leaving out important bits like ether?

I'd tell you that I care little for models, they never explain anything (and that is never their purpose), and aether is demonstrably real.

Why is all of NASAs work computer generated in an era of 8k VR helmets and 8k megapixel cellphones in our pockets?
