CRT is actually a revision of the Marxist class warfare communist model, replacing it with the racial warfare communist model. The class warfare model just doesn't have the appeal it once had because:
Formal classes don't exist anymore. The ability to acquire almost anything is dependent on money and not social standing/class. In the past, there was a more rigid social hierarchy where your standing in the class system dictated a lot of things. Money has essentially taken it's place.
Anyone can become rich (though not everyone will). As a result, even many people who are poor don't want to get rid of the current system because they want their shot at becoming rich. Even the classical communists actually just want to replace the wealthy with themselves, just like they wanted to replace the ruling class in the older days.
As a result, no one wants to rebel against a class system which technically doesn't exist anymore and one that people can envision benefiting them if they are able to make the right financial moves. Therefore, the communists had to re-organize their sale pitch. And the new one is that one race rules over and oppresses the others and the revolution must be against the system that allows them to do this. Everything else relating to CRT is just pseudo-intellectual framework trying to pretend like this insane premise is actually real. Part of this pseudo-intellectualism is pretending that colonialism is around today because that is actually a system that more closely resembles what they want the world to be like for their revolution to happen. The only problem is, we do not live in a colonial world anymore and haven't for over a hundred years.
The CRT premise is also very good at trying to dividing people into groups so they start fighting each other, necessary to kick off any revolution. The cabal have caught onto this and are therefore supporting this insane movement for two main reasons:
They don't want to risk the entire population putting their differences aside and uniting to remove them from power. They need people to be divided and fighting each other.
The also see the underlying communism as benefiting them because its core, communism is taking all the power from the individual and giving it to the government. This is exactly what they want, with them at the head of this government.
