I was the same until a trusted friend recommended it, the director of that reboot is so mad that "Afterlife" picks up from "Ghostbusters 2" and renders his film totally non-canon. The writing was decent in that none of the male characters are incompetent (for example it's the white boy who fixes up the Ecto-1 and does all the driving) and I'm sure wokels were mad that the black chick actually had to be rescued at one point.
"Ghostbusters: Afterlife" was surprisingly decent though.

Good to know...the preview was clever
