Why are small dogs given the exact same dose of vaccine for parvo and rabies as big dogs? I asked my vet for a half dose and they said it is not done. Can someone please explain why a 5 pound dog gets the same vaccines as a 100 pound dog?

I don't ever take my dogs to the vet. I feed them made in the USA food and give them absolutely no flea and tick medicine. In contrast my dad does, his last two dogs and current dog all have gotten tumors and Cancer. My girl is ten right now and healthy as can be and she eats human food everyday with me.
