Now I’ve actually created a bullet point page with the links and had my lefty friends snatch it, glance over it, hand it back telling me, “That’s all conspiracy sites!” Without checking them to see thee actual peer-review studies and heavy documentation! Of course do they offer a counter…no! And then they wave me off and walk away! I’ve found even with hard facts, breaking through their brainwashed mentality, will require a crowbar lobotomy. It’s really sad when they ask for proof, ya give it, and they can’t even spend the time to check it out, when you’re obviously and kindly trying to help them. But then they just blow you off. It makes me mad enough to think, just think; “Why even further try to help these people?! Have we considered maybe at the end battle time it needs to be survival of the fittest and truth believers? Do we really need people like this further going forward?” So in this I put my faith in God to let him decide. It’s all we can do in the end. And that End Won’t Be For Everyone.
When I first had my political awakening it was under Obama. It wasn't even Q or conspiracy theories. It was over easy to prove things. I could not wake them. I remember I explained why Benghazi was a big deal and terrible. They just went blank-eyed and seemed to turn off until I changed the subject. They wouldn't even try to discuss or argue. They'd just tune out anything that challenged the notion that the Obama administration and Hillary were bad.
At least if they got angry that would be a reaction. We are talking just turning into blank face. It is disturbing to watch a person turn off, but I've seen it happen so many times. Their eyes glaze over and their face slackens. They were otherwise very fun and engaging people, but they would not hear criticism of the Left.
I mentioned how Newsom released thousands of criminals over covid to one. She responded "No he didn't." I showed news articles like ABC (the normie-approved) that showed yes he did. Even holding up the article where it said point blank he released 20,000 criminals she just said "I don't believe it".
And that was it. Even if you use normie-accepted sites that say "Yes, it happened" they will just shrug and go "I don't believe it". It's a literal wall. Facts bounce off it.
They have decided how the world works and they won't hear otherwise.
