My 17 year old son just sent me a text about Russia possibly committing genocide in Ukraine. He knows how I feel that Russia is not what the news says it is. Stated he's been doing some research and showed me what he found. Told him I was proud that he's not believing what he's being told in school news, or even from me for that matter. Sent him some links to here for more research. I can't force him to trust what we know, but I can sprinkle little crumbs for him to learn how to find the truth. This is the way..

good job Dad
The important thing is that he learns to thing for himself, not that he thinks every single thing you think.
This ^^ I always told my boys this is most important- do your own research - we can guide you but in the end itβs up to you how to inform oneself and make own judgements on what information you discover

Have been following this guy for a while and seems to be brining footage from the ongoing war there.
Boom awesome job #1Dad kek quite a good feeling knowing theyβre seeing 2+2 logically and could open the door to so much more with showing the way with his friends (:
Feels comfortable to discuss shows good free-thinking parenting.
Have you sent him Patrick Lancaster's YouTube channel?
