We had people in our church that were the same way. Some of the other parents (mine included) weren't completely on board, so we still watched it.

As kids, we pointed out the naked lady in The Lion King poster and the dick in the Little Mermaid, but we always got in trouble for saying it.

Once the internet came around and more people pointed out other coincidences and innuendos, I knew the church people from my youth were right.
