The comments aren't hateful. Develop a thicker skin. To me it looks like constructive criticism, which is also what we do here. The same people, if you had a conversation in person, would probably have a rapport or mannerisms that would take the edge off, which is hard to do online. They are saying it will be ineffectual. No act or intention for good is wasted. Go ahead and send it. Just be aware of where and how you spend your time, and whether what you are doing is casting pearls of wisdom before the swine.
