Seriously, I’m so disappointed that they didn’t try and do more with it. They could’ve turned it into a supply chain protest, but probably avoided any opportunity to do anything and grow the movement. They didn’t visit dc. Did they even cut dc off. They didn’t block the super bowl. They didn’t visit state capitals. They didn’t visit Hollywood or Racine. They didn’t go to protest at important companies involved in the Great reset. They never once did anything of note. Imagine if they grew their base to anyone in the economy.
They fucking blew it imo
Hard to achieve anything when you agree to only clog up the beltway at certain times.
Imagine the Canadians protesting better than us.
Smh
ETA: I also suggested we look into the backgrounds of the organizers.
And we did it in -20 weather
Yeah, in hindsight where did those millions of dollars raised go?
Is it?
America is bigger than Canada, population wise. This is why we need a bigger but more decentralized protest. That’s just how Americans work. It worked in Canada because of how close most of the population is to each other.
These protests can not be organized the same. Canada has 36 million people living mostly in a few population centers. These United States have 332.4 million people spread out all over the country
Maybe because of what happened to the Canuks with freezing bank accounts and pulling their licenses and threatening their livelihoods.
Doubt it was the Jan 6 treatment as much as it was the threat of losing their ability to drive trucks.
That depends largely on the State, and to a less extent the Province. It's pretty fucking bad at the federal level in both countries, though.
