Remember how they succeeded for so long. They had a better communication system until the internet and the modern era changed the playing field. Suddenly their symbolism communication wasn't such an advantage. They are vastly outnumbered.

The winner is the one who can communicate better and jam the enemy's communication system. They couldn't update their symbolism system for the modern era. They are being undone by their inability to adapt.

Communicating by symbolism is only an advantage if your enemies are unaware of it and fail to coordinate a response before you destroy them.

There is a reason they keep misreading the situation and making the wrong moves. Their whole symbol comm system is being used to jam. They built it way too large. They thought having millions of "need to know"only minions protected them because there was always someone to replace the baddie if he was taken out.

However, it made it very easy to cause confusion and chaos among their giant base of minions.

Q and the White Hats have many allies. They coordinate with many, but I suspect they are quite small and tight. They can adapt on a dime to changed circumstances. DS can't. Pyramid is too big. It's own size is its weakness.
