I have never been one to use the voice function. When I got a fire stick for free a safety pin into the mic hole worked great. Remote still works fine they hear nothin

I haven’t tried the voice function. Those automated systems can’t understand my country southern accent. I stream most everything & the voice function doesn’t work on side loaded apps.
