I think so. In South America the "winged Serpent" was Godly Dragon "Quetzalcoatl"... among the Aborigines, "The Rainbow Serpent"...all Seraphim...those survivors cast down to earth when their home planet was destroyed.

Quetzalcoatl has a myth story similar to Prometheus. Both stole from the heaven gifts to give to mankind. Just thought that was interesting as well
