I think I’ve figured this stuff out: These types of fake stories are things that the person themselves starts to think on their own i.e. “no one else is wearing masks, why i am still doing it?, coronavirus seems to be over”....but instead focusing in to see if those thoughts are valid and if their behavior should change, they just put those thoughts into a fake story said by others so that they can demonize and dismiss the thoughts as things bigoted crazy people think and do and then in return receive support and reinforcement from their like-minded followers.
