Children cannot consent to sexual education of any kind. They are below the age of consent. That is why the parents are the ones who provide consent for their children and the teachers are wrong because the parents DO NOT CONSENT.
I would simply add that it is the parent's right and duty to provide sexual education, since they are the keepers of the child's innocence. To teach children behind a parent's back about it is wrong, and depending on what and how it is taught, could be considered grooming.
