Not sure if you like country, but there is a lot in that genre that you have probably never heard. Even some modern style country crossover.
If your not a country fan, remeber that its about the story more so then the music.

I've never been into country. My ex wife liked it and I was open to it, but she would only listen to mainstream Christian until we separated then she started listening to mainstream country again.
Me? I still listen to the same stuff, just looking for more spiritual based artists to support.
Don't know whether you would consider LZ7 not mainstream. They are Christian so some of that os influenced in some of their songs. And their content is clean.

If they are played on satellite or terrestrial radio they are mainstream in my opinion.
Once a group goes mainstream I try to avoid them because they are chasing a paycheck and not the message at that point.
