I dunno, this seems like a classic pump and dump scheme. Musk comes in and buys a bunch of Twitter. Just him buying it makes the stock go up. He's now Ina position that if he sells all his new stocks, he'll be making money just because of who he is when he bought the stock at the lower price. SEC in theory is there to stop and punish such actions, so it'll be interesting to see where this goes and what may happen.
