Feel about 90% better. I took 12mg once a day for 7 days. Not a medical recommendation, just a personal report.

As a lactation consultant, most medications are safe while breastfeeding because they come into the breast milk in small amounts. I assume ivermectin, which is taken quite liberally in underdeveloped countries, is taken by lactating mothers. Since I am now retired, I don’t have a reference book with me, but Dr. Hale is a great reference and can tell you the safety of ivermectin. You can also call your local lactation consultant or lactation support group and they will look it up for you. If you don’t have one near you, here is the local out patient lactation center in a Cleveland, Ohio suburb who can answer your question: 1-(440)-995-3830.
Wow - thank you so much for the resource and assurance! I really appreciate it a lot!
No problem.
