In the interview, this repair shop guy said Hunter dropped off 3 laptops due to water damage. One was totally trashed. The nature of the laptop you can't remove the hard disk its physically welded.
Maybe an iPad?
Some SSDs are indeed welded on, usually the thin ultrabooks, etc.
If they were...soldered....on, they can be unsoldered.
What about if they were welded tho. I'm thinking you could get a cut off wheel in there and remove the drives that way?
