I don’t care whether you are Republican, Democrat or Independent, the majority must rule, not the whims of the politicians. Take note Pa. and vote these people out.
I don't have any faith in Luzerne County. I grew up there and saw firsthand how corrupt from top to bottom that county actually is. Especially their juvenile criminal system that locked up kids for what can be considered a meme in today's terms.
Judge Michael T. Conahan got released from federal prison due to the covid hysteria after serving 6 of his 17 years. Judge Mark Ciavarella senteced to I think 28 years thankfully got denied a sentence reduction partially due to the fact he still claims he never committed a crime.
I unfortunately had the pleasure of being one of the thousands of kids that Ciavarella got a kickback for. Their short sentences will never pay back the multiple middle and high school students that took their own lives.
Sorry for the rant, I will more than likely have something to say about the kids for cash scandal until the day I die.
I for one appreciate your rant (and sorry for what you went through) - your comments lead me to research the case against Ciavarella, someone I had never heard of before. I’m not from PA, but now more inclined to support Larocca after learning of this backstory.
Thanks, having a good supportive family goes a long way in miserable times like those.
To be honest I dont know anything about Larocca other than reading his web page. I moved 2000 miles away after college so I don't follow local NE PA politics hardly at all.
Hopefully if elected he means what he says and isn't swayed by money or threats.
My family moved from Germany in the mid 1830's. They built a mill that ground and sold grains. Eventually around 1890 (might be a few years off) a spur was built to connect the mill to the Wilkes Barre and western railroad. The spur was built to bring in coal to the mill and from there a horse and buggy were used to deliver coal to homes & factories. Coal & steel have played a part in every family that has lived in that area for a few generations.
Its sad to see what a once booming coal and steel industry has become. Wellfare, drugs, and crime have permanently replaced those industries.
Thankfully my fairly small hometown hasn't been the most friendly to people that wont learn to speak English and refuse to assimilate. Regardless the future is looking bleak.
Your description of what happened is sad—and accurate. Wherever we lived, we trusted our leaders (elected and not) had our best interests in mind. Because we thought, like most of us do, that they wanted the good of all—we forgot to keep checking on them. Human nature …
What’s different now is that we and people likeus are recognizing and reclaiming our innate power and using it! (Also human nature! Yay!)
Luzerne, Lackawanna, Allegheny, and all the other beautiful counties of Pennsylvania—one by one, here and there (not this minute, but soon)—all coming back!
I am so sorry for what you went through. I know that doesn't correct the damage done, but you have my love and support and I will keep you in my prayers.
Thank you I appreciate it. It was by no means fun but I made it out just fine. Being stubborn and living by the motto what doesn't kill you makes you stronger seemed to work. I just feel bad for the kids and families that let it destroy their lives.
No need to apologize. Going through something like that gives you the energy to fight it that other people simply can’t imagine.
Your username suggests Texas. No need to feel bleak about anything—with a spirit like yours! Add Texas to that, and you’re unstoppable! (Lots to do there, too, on similar fronts!)
I'm in neighboring lackawanna county. Scranton. The corruption here is as bad. I'm hoping they pop this corrupt shite hole. Judges son a lawyer runnning the biggest dominant nursing home. What I'm still going through , what they did to mom . They're stripping elderly of their houses their wealth and their lives. still fighting. Til the 25th to sue. This area wouldnt be the shite hole it is if we could remove this corruption. New job leaves me brain dead each night. Pray. When your feeling like its endless..dig in n fight. And dont give up.
Brain dead—totally understandable with a new job, but it won’t last forever. Might be a good idea to check a couple things out now. Here’s your GOP county website: https://lackawannagop.com/ to get familiar with.
Why not go to A Meet & Greet with Carrie Lewis DelRosso on Sun, April 24, 3pm – 5pm (an hour or so on a Sunday afternoon) at Villa Maria II, 1610 Washburn St, Scranton, PA?
—a short preview until you’re feeling ready to roll! 🇺🇸
Let’s look at the local committee links: https://www.allegheny.gop/local_committees. Looks like they got them all covered. Check ✔️
Now the affiliate organizations: https://www.allegheny.gop/affiliate_organizations. Pretty impressive. Their Daddy organization calls them “independent bodies comprised of local collegiate, young, and women's Republican groups.” They may be called affiliates, but they’re pretty much on their own, which could be a good thing. The point is, they’re young—and they care. Check ✔️
But wait! Allegheny County’s GOP’s last newsletter came out October, 2021. Their calendar has no party events, and they have no candidates list at all.
Moving on to FB for more info. Mixed results … except for this announcement on a YR group page:
“YOUNG REPUBLICANS are officially on the ballot!” Why aren’t they listed on the party website? Why are no candidates there?
Is it possible (dare I suggest?) that old-line Allegheny Republicans are too jaded, disappointed, disbelieving—maybe even too RINO?? to get behind their Young Republicans and cheer them on? (I hope I’m wrong … I’d love to be wrong.)
These comments don’t apply to only Allegheny County. For any county: If you’re sick of the RINO status quo, if their inertia bores you, if their entrenched corruption disgusts you, and you’re still Mad as Hell about the anti-MAGA cheaters, then—
BE BRAVE. DO SOMETHING!ELECTIONS NO LONGER BEGIN – OR END – ON ELECTION DAY! 🇺🇸!
The good ol boy club. You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. No outsiders needed or wanted. Dems or Republicans..2 sides of same coin. IMHO, outsiders are the ones we MUST vote for everywhere, in every state. People who have never been in office and are fully behind passing term limits legislation. I want to back people who have no interest in spending more than 6-8 years in DC. Go there, serve their country and faithfully serve their constituents, not themselves. The people who I want to see running hate lobbyists and will accept no gifts, gratuities, honorariums, tickets to the theatre, sporting events, trips, etc. They will be totally transparent about their finances and agree to be independently audited every year. If they have special talents, knowledge or skill they should serve on the appropriate oversight committees.
Corruption cuts across all parties and the swamp has been adept at telling the fresh faces for many years how things work. Now I want the newbies to tell the lifers how things will be different. No more Mitch McConnells putting their arm around your shoulder with that pouchy face flush with bourbin. No more old boy networks.
That's important to know. The next Governor can set a lot of things straight or he can be a do nothing RINO if not a Dem. I sent a message to Mike Larrocca asking. I know who I like but I want to know who he supports.
Thank you for your past efforts. Your perspective is understandable, but please don’t let it discourage other people’s present efforts.
Maybe you could share what you learned in ways that could help others—so that they could learn from your experience in ways that benefit everyone? A wise fox teaches his cubs …
The party committee whose endorsement that you are seeking are woefully ill-informed.
They are a tight-knit group who are looking for a party puppet and definitely not somebody who wants to follow the constitution.
I was personally accused of mail fraud by the person that I was challenging. The post office contacted me one evening which felt very odd to me. One employee that I spoke with finally asked me what was on the flyer that I was passing out in the neighborhood. I read the flyer to her and her response was "Oh honey, you didn't break any laws, you pissed somebody off for telling the truth". I found out after the election that the person that I was challenging took every time that I left the polling station to pull voters aside and tell them that I committed mail fraud and was a cheater. Aside from being childish and being a gossip monger, I found it quite distasteful.
If you want to run a successful small campaign then be prepared to kiss a lot of butt and associate with people that just being around them will make you feel physically ill. I met one person in particular who was a party member and quite popular in the party and held a county council position. It honestly felt like I was talking to evil incarnate and mentioned that to several close friends. A few years later, she ended up in jail. While in jail, the party sent out an email saying that she was bored and asked members to send her books! They should have sent her a bible and a copy of the constitution.
If you really want to run for any position, prepare to spend years working yourself up the "party ladder".
You can attempt to run as a third party candidate but the average voter follows the party endorsements. Not only that, if you run as a third party candidate then you also need a minimum of three times the amount of signatures to get on the ballot and every signature on your petition(s) will be challenged by one or both parties.
“LAROCCA is now on the ballot” That means YOUR PROTEST WON!
NOW … IT’S TIME TO PROTECT YOUR WIN!!
(It also means that if they cheated before, they’ll cheat again.)
Five easy pieces. Take these step by step, or divvy up the work with friends:
1.} Pennsylvania has mail-in ballots and drop boxes. Sign up to work the polls and do anything connected with ballot-counting. Training is required, and it must be done BEFORE MAY 17. So. Sign. Up. NOW:
https://www.luzernecounty.org/1093/Election-Day-Poll-Workers
2.} Interestingly, www.pagop.org has NO LINK to Luzerne County. Go to the Luzerne County FaceBook page: https://www.facebook.com/LuzerneGOP
Join and ask about being a Republican election worker/observer.
3.} If you can afford the $75, got to the Meet & Greet the Candidates Event on April 22 to get the lay of the land and identify fellow patriots. Or pool your cash and send one of you to report back to the others.
He is on the ballot for the primary, his nomination for the special election was ignored and the installed candidate was elected and is to be sworn in in the near future. 2 different elections but for the same seat, one to finish the term (the special election), one for the primary for the next full term which he is on the ballot for.
I don’t care whether you are Republican, Democrat or Independent, the majority must rule, not the whims of the politicians. Take note Pa. and vote these people out.
We're a republic. Not majority rule.
The LAW must rule.
Yep, one of the most corrupt counties in PA... probably the US. This is where the Kids for Cash scandal happened a few years back.

Allegheny runs a close 2nd.
Couldn’t let a mention of Allegheny go by unremarked!
Is the Allegheny County GOP website (https://www.allegheny.gop) active? What’s happening?

FWIW, why not get on the Allegheny County Young Republicans FaceBook page and look around? https://www.facebook.com/AlleghenyCountyYRs/
Why not even go to their next event, acknowledge whatever age you are, and ask them how you can help? https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=349633627194256&set=ecnf.100064428652301
Who knows? Maybe they could use help contacting all those committee members?

AC GOP is still fairly dirty from what I've seen. Still feels like it's going to be another hold your nose and vote election.
Won’t that be fun to demolish? Sounds like a bunch of you pedes already got started!
I'm in! Going to website now.
So proud of you, Patriot! 🇺🇸
Just hung up with Mike. I am PUMPED! Going to hit the streets hard getting the word out and help take our country back!
Way to go! Keep us posted on how it’s going and what you need! 🦅

Who does Mike support for PA Governor?
Don’t know. Referring you to /r/God_Bless_America1. Or /r/ElectionPredictor
That's important to know. The next Governor can set a lot of things straight or he can be a do nothing RINO if not a Dem. I sent a message to Mike Larrocca asking. I know who I like but I want to know who he supports.
Mastriano for gov and Daniels for LG
Point well taken.
If we all chip in a few bucks, we can get this guy elected.
Strength in numbers, pedes!
Will take more than money. Money is an easy substitute for actual effort. Do both.
Couldn’t agree more. This gentleman needs both.
Praying for Mr. LaRocca's safety!
Easy, but it’s a long game. Here’s how:
1.} Focus on the WIN.
2.} Then work with the WINNER, who now owes you, to clean out the rest.
3.} If he doesn’t do the work, get rid of him at the next election and put up one of your own people.
Luzerne is corrupted as fuck. What can one do? Do you have any contact info?
See my responses above.
Will do, this is a bat shit crazy situation. Thanks for posting.
Tar and feathers.
This is common practice in both parties. The sad part is the fact that some voters still appear to follow their party "recommendations".
Got any plans to do something about it?
Ran for party position years ago. Also ran for a council position. There is not enough clorox to clean my mind of those endeavors.
Thank you for your past efforts. Your perspective is understandable, but please don’t let it discourage other people’s present efforts.
