I probably have the largest collection of novelty records this side of Dr. Demento. I also have a huge collection of Dr. Demento Shows, hundreds of them.
Aspie, you're AMAZING! We knew we were fortunate people back then... we just didn't know HOW fortunate we were. THANK YOU for being here! May you live to share your treasures for MANY years to come!
I post some off the wall stuff on FB occasionally. People get a kick out of it.
I have thousands of records going all the way back to around 1903. The newsgroups used to have a ton of stuff, and I tried to download it all. I have over a million MP3 files on my system. Of course there are some duplicates.
Some people ask why I have so many, since there are too many to ever listen to them all. I tell them the point is that I can listen to almost anything I wish just by accessing my own collection.
"Hello, Rico! Hello, Mortis!"
"Duram's got 'em... up their orifice..."
"Deep state rat-finks are complainin' "
"But we really, REALLY hope the swamp is drainin'... "
[Allan Sherman reference from 1963] YIKES I'm ancient ;(
LOL! Ah, brings back memories. Noice song parody, Patriot!
I have the 45 of that song. On the flip side, it has a live alternate version that was performed on the Tonight Show. Both are hilarious.
I also like his Christmas record that starts out: "On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me, a Japanese transistor radio."
Allan Sherman was a good one.
Wow! You're bringing up some great memories! Do you also remember: "The First Family"? (Album) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_First_Family_(album)?msclkid=d27b3bc0bd2611eca10dda5fa0e939ab
Let one of our mottos be "Make America LAUGH Again!"
I have that album in my collection.
David Frye was another hoot. I have his album, "Richard Nixon: Superstar."

Worth repeating
In the eyes of the law, conspiracy isn't a theory
It's a serious felony
That was a dense read. Very interesting.
