Coercion is a crime. Coercion turns even something wonderful, like sex, into something evil.
Basing one's society on criminal behavior -- even if it were just forcing people to pay for what government is doing -- can never bring about a Christian world.
You could be right (probably are) . . . but in the meantime, TRYING to create the best world we can is the only sane and Christian thing we can do.
