The early church fathers - Catholics - are the ones who established the Scriptures as authoritative. It’s a bad look to misappropriate them. The doctrine of sola scriptura is self-contradictory; I.e., no where does the Bible make the claim for itself. Catholics are not taught to worship idols. Catholics do not engage in pagan practices.
