That is true, but Catholic mass is still Jesus and God centric. In some cases it's more because to have your communion you need 2 years of weekly Bible Study, and for your confirmation you need 2 years of Bible study as well, you have to also go to a day long retreat with all your peers as well where you pray, listen to songs about God, study the Bible more, etc.
Most Christians go to church weekly, Catholicism asks for that plus years of Bible study to get your sacraments.
Nowhere in the Bible does God say to pray to Saints, Mary, Angels or confess to a Priest or to pray Rosary or that our lived ones become angels when they die and the phrase they always repeat in their mass (my mother in law is Catholic and my husband was raised Catholic) that Jesus went to hell after he was crucified before he arose. It says he went to witness to the lost and the older Bible versions say Sheol which is different than hell.
